- U of R - not always on, but plays anything/everything seriously
from alternative classics to artists you won't hear about for years on the
usual suspects to Persian dance mixes, blues, techno, etc.
- 91.1:
- Henrico schools - enough commerical hits to keep you current,
but a great alternative to commercial stations
- 103.1:
- Out of Charlottesville - new alternative, about three years ahead
of other local stations
