Can I mention myself? I wear a bowler daily to the office and often have a wide-brimmed straw or cowboy hat on weekends. I came to your site to see if I can find somewhere to buy a hat since my bowler is getting worn and my western (or cowboy) styled hat is unwearable. I also need one for a medieval recreation group I'm part of.If I should also mention other men, I'd like to give credit to a German tourist I met this summer. We started talking because I asked about his hat (it was the type I want for the medieval recreation) and then he listed off his collection of hats and it floored me.Kudos to all other men, young and old, who still strive for this facet of good fashion.

I see a boy, about 16-years-old, who comes to school every day with a hat. He either wears a black fedora with a red feather, a grey fedora with a plain black band, or a, occasionally Greek fisherman's cap. He stands out and you can always see him coming; maybe there is hope for the next generation.

At my church several men wear hats, and they aren't all older men. They take them off when they come in the building, but you see them in the parking area and they stand out because they look so much more distinguished than the men not wearing hats.
