We started our website in 1996 and started selling our coffee gifts and
gift baskets online in 1998. At SendCoffee.com we're
avid coffee drinkers, so we've designed baskets that will please everyone
from the occasional coffee drinker to the gourmet.
Our coffees are fresh, and not flavoured. They're the full
bean - not a blend - ground for most drip coffee makers and French Presses. For those
who like a little flavouring we also carry spoons and syrups, and you can taste the
difference a good coffee makes even when you flavour it.
Our baskets are wrapped and ribboned, but not overly dressed. Almost everyone
has gotten or given a basket with too much window-dressing. We wanted
our baskets to be a gift you can give without worrying it may look tacky, or
may have five things in it, but none of the tiny goodies when you pick through the
filling. All our items were chosen specifically, so there are no
throw-aways, or void-fill foods. Only the best products, we tested (yum!)
ourselves.

Coffee Gift Advice:
If you're shopping for a coffee basket and you see the
same basket on a few sites, it's not a coincidence. Many gift basket sites will
buy a coffee basket from a mass producer and add it to their line. The coffees
are often inferior, flavoured to disguise their taste, and the baskets can sit on
shelves for months.
Flavouring is usually an oil and the flavour/scent stays in the maker.
Rather than completely cleaning the system afterward, many coffee drinkers simply won't brew a
flavoured coffee. Flavour syrups or chocolate spoons can be added to the cup for extra flavour.
Even if you don't purchase one of our gifts, try to get real coffee. Buy from a
coffee company, rather than a gift basket site with 'coffee' as just one of many themes.
